  1. Uhm... quite a thought. I have heard of bad Christians and good atheists. It would have to resort to a much more personal level. Then again I hate politics so I don't vote. Oh and I am not American either.

  2. Twice.

  3. I really don't care if the guy in the White House is an Atheist or a Christian. I care if the President is going to uphold our Constitution, because it seems that every recent President has done something to take away from the Bill of Rights.

  4. If he was willing to stand up for the values that he and I share yes but unfortunately none of them do.

  5. If a candidate was confirmed an atheist I would vote for them no matter who they were.

  6. Nope!  There would have no common ground or common moral values I'd share w/ them.  My moral values are the sole factor in how I vote.

    To reply to Phil L:

A true Christian wouldn't do that.  Their decisions would coincide with the Bible.  Besides...just think...you might look good in all fur...lol

  7. i wouldn't care

  8. duh!

  9. What does your religious preference have to do with your work. I dont think it should matter. Our relationship with the president is professional. Not personal. So we should stay out of his business.

  10. yea

  11. Absolutely, positively, emphatically.....NOT....In God we Trust! xox

  12. They're all atheists, Religion is another marketing gimmick

  13. Would you hire someone on the basis of his/her religion? If not - what is the difference?

  14. Why not?

As long as their stance on the issues remains unchanged by it then there is no problem.

Even then: why WOULD their stance change?  If they joined the race, being an admitted atheist, and had good opinions/ideas on the issues then they wouldn't have any reason to change what they've already said.

    EDIT:

My question to those who automatically say no:  Would you vote for an outspoke Christian candidate who wishes to create laws forcing people to wear eskimo suits in the summer?  What about one who says that the population has grown too much and new births are forbidden?

Just because someone believes one way or another doesn't mean that they have good ideas about our country.

  15. I'd register 5 times. Just kidding, only if I thought that person was best for the job. I don't vote by religion or lack of.
