I'd ask him whether it was a new way to take a face tan while protecting the body - C'mon, any sane guy would try to clear the sand & pull the poor chap out.

Um....I'd ask him how he got there and if he wanted to be stuck in the sand or not...if he was playing with his kids or something I'd leave him alone..if he wanted out...I'd dig him out...after I took pictures, of course.
