  1. No... I do think so..... however Sunoco uses better octane gasoline. Nascar and most race cars use that gas station... I get really good gas mileage from using it also. Seriously... like a 35 mile difference on a whole tank of gas. If I use mobile or exxon it sucks.

  2. BS.

All major oil companies all pump their gasoline through the same pipe line. I'm not talking about the crude.  They are all the same gasoline.

    Good Luck..

P.S.  This was on History channel Modern Marvel.

  3. NO..it's the driving habit that determines fuel usage.

  4. I'm of the opinion that Chevron fuel is better for gas engines because of the additives they use. I don't know if that's true, but for instance I know biodiesel is an additive that slows wear in diesel engines.  So it's possible.

My father (who worked in the automotive industry selling emissions test labs) confirms that Detroit automakers do truck in Chevron gas for all their emissions tests.

I don't think it will give you better fuel economy, if that's what you care about.

I will also take Chevron over Arco because Chevron takes credit cards and lets me pay at the pump instead of that silly kiosk where I have to know my pump #.
