  1. the accident wil go on you insurance, the citation will not.

  2. I can tell you my story in NJ.

l got into 2 little fender-benders. No ticket, no warning, no citation- no nothing. Only the police was called,  insurance info exchanged and a report filed.

No insurance and no notice they were cancelling because l had 9 points on my license without my knowledge of either the points or the cancellation.

l found out when they returned my check. l called and they told me. So l could have been arrested for driving without insurance!

Now l pay for the entire year, different company of course. So l wouldn't be mailing an installment check. Which means I  might be at risk of not being insured for ever without knowing.

  3. The wsrning will not increase your rates, BUT the accident will. You can bet on it. The accident will make your rates go up about $40 or more per month at least. The last thing you should be worried about is the warning. I hope the accident wasn't your fault. However, if you was given a warning then the accident will most likely be against you. You should be very happy you only got a warning. Most cops would have ticketed you.

  4. No, if you were the only one involved. If another car was involved they would bill your insurance for the damage unless they were at fault and got a ticket. Need more info... too vague

  5. never heard of that a warning  no sweat   but what about the wreck

  6. No it wont go on anything as long as you don't have to pay any money. If you got a ticket and have to pay it will go on. But a written warning will not.

  7. Nope, warnings (verbal or written) do not affect your insurance. However, be careful because tickets and accidents (unless you do not file a police report for the accident) does affect your insurance.

  8. the citation does not harm your insurance since it was only a warning however since you were at fault because you didn't yield and cause the accident your insurance is affected and will go up
