  1. you ovulate 3-7 days

  2. LH doesn't say you are ovulating at the very moment. LH triggers ovulation and an OPK can be positive for 3 days without being pregnant. Especially if you catch it on the way up and way down.

Mine were always positive for 3 days. 3 days is not uncommon and does not mean your body is trying to ovulate but cannot - it can but is not necessarily true. The month I got pregnant I ovulated about 36 hours after my first positive OPK but it stayed dark for about 2 days afterwards.

Q: I had a positive result yesterday and today. Does that mean there is something wrong?

Some women experience 2 and more rarely 3 days of an lh surge. Such results may indicate that your the tests detected the LH Surge on the way up (lh increase) and again on the way down again (lh surge decrease).

  3. Well, if you get a positive OPK 3 days in a row, then it generally means that your body is trying to ovulate, but for someone reason does not. It is not uncommon for women to occasionally experience an anovulatory cycle. You are generally fertile 3-4 days before ovulation and the day immediately following ovulation, an OPK will test positive when your LH surge is detected and when that happens it means you will ovulate generally within 12-36 hours. OPKs will read positive if you are pregnant, but this won't occur until after your period would be due and by the time it would do this a pregnancy test would have registered a positive.
