  1. *sigh*

    Macs don't have viruses.

  2. Try to download songs that have a high number next to them.  Those are the ones that are held by many users, and are less likely to have a virus.

Dont download videos, those arent safe, i know!

Songs are fine, just make sure they are reliable sources or IP's.

For full safety, i suggest... gasp... BUYING the songs from napster or Zune/iTunes.  I know!! Unheard of!

There is a safer way, however... Go to the library, borrow a CD, and you can always burn a song, its virus free!

  3. That's what you get for being a free loader.

  4. Macs are generally less targeted by viruses because they aren't used by very many people...however they are not immune so be careful.

  5. Don't use Limewire, I got a virus from it too and had to wipe my computers drive. It sucked bad. Plus I feel bad stealing from the bands because then they won't make money or be able to play like at all.

  6. Protect your mac computer from viruses and spyware by downloading PC Tools iAntiVirus from http://www.iantivirus.com

  7. Kispersky is a good Computer protection suite , i would go with that before you even use limewire, wich i dont recomend anyway, torrents are much safer , google utorrent, and then go to torrent-damage.com and try to get a account , they only let certin people upload on that site, so its waay safer.,Hope that helps  ,peace

  8. As long as you just download .mp3 songs, you really don't have to be worried about viruses.

They say in the news and everything that LimeWire, etc. is very dangerous about viruses. It's not. I use it every day (well, almost every day) to download songs.

Yes, I know I should buy the CD's from the store, but I'm not.

  9. Try downloading antivirus/antispyware software. A good internet security program will catch and stop almost anything. Try http://netsecuritycentral.com They have all the best programs on the market today.
