If you get approved in principle for a Canadian permanent residence application, do you still need an off-campus work permit to work off of the campus of your university/college campus? Thanks.

  1. When you get AIP you will actually be able to apply for an OPEN work permit which means you can work anywhere and for anyone who is willing to hire you. Hiowever you will NOT be a student anymore.

So if you wish to continue studying then yes you must still apply for the off campus WP becaue your Study permit is still the main legal reason you are allowed to stay.

  2. yes until you het your PR card  and new SIN
