  1. GET AN ATTORNEY!!!!!!!!! If it is your first offense you will get fined heavily. Defiantly  probation. You need to find out if the intent to sell charge is a federal offense. Just get a real good attorney or you will get screwed!

  2. Possession for sale is NOT a federal charge.  It is a state charge in all 50 states.  Unfortunately, it is also a felony, regardless of the amount of substance your were caught with and whether the substance was pot or Heroin.

If you didn't get arrested immediately, it's probably a good sign that it's not a huge deal in that jurisdiction.  Fine, probation...maybe 2-6 months in jail.  It will depend on your prior record, if you have any.

Get a better car, don't drive after dark with drugs in the car and don't separate the substance until after you get to your destination.

That being said, I agree that you need to learn your lesson now to drop this habit now before you end up in prison with Bubba and his homies sticking their bongs up yer keister.  Smoking pot, no big deal to some people.  Going to prison, BIG DEAL and not a good one.

Good luck.  Plead guilty and express remorse, trust me.

  3. i don't know how having less than an ounce of pot can be intent to sell.?????

  4. Possibly not enough punishment. I learned long ago that weed is not worth the risks, You need a good lesson.
