If you get fired from being teacher, can you still work in the same school district?

One of my best friends is a teacher and sadly she has got fired from her school. She asked me if she can still work in the same school district, that the school came from, can she still work there?

  2. i think that it would depend on what you're fired for.  but i recentlly saw a man who was fired from my highschool like 8 years ago, and he was working in an elementary school in the same district.

  3. You dont know enough.

    No one gets fired for grading papers late. There must be more to it - neglect of duties etc.,...

    If we are talking public -

    then one thing for certain is - she was *not* employed by the school. She was working for the district. If she was fired, her district processed the firing - she wont work there again.

  4. I would think if it was documented that "she was mean to her 6th graders" that she would not get a job in that district again.  She might consider learning new class management skills before applying elsewhere.  I never heard of anyone getting fired for grading papers late...
