I don't mean like major trouble such as drugs, weapons, or crimes. I mean getting detentions and other minor stuff.

  1. Yes, it will if they're on your record...

Usually, the recommendations that the teachers fill out for you have a question that reads something like "Have any disciplinary actions been taken against this student? If yes, explain."

And it's college not collage =)

  2. No that stuff doesn't matter.Where i live we just had a guy who had a scholarship to UWV and he just shot someone. Now we find out while he was in high school he was arrested for assault several times.Sounds like you are safe.Good luck.

  3. First thing, it is spelled college.  Secondly, detentions and other minor offenses are not the greatest things to have, but as long as you weren't suspended for those offenses you should be okay.  However with that being said I've known a few people who have been suspended and they've went to college.  So don't worry.

  4. no not really just try not to get in trouble a lot colleges really focus on you gpa and if you joined any sports or clubs. and it doesnt matter if you went to a public school and if you are really worried about getting into college just stop getting in trouble
