If you get into a fight with some guy and knock him out and no one's around should you just leave him there?

I would find his cell phone and call him Mama and let her know that her son was being a dumb @$$ and he got knocked the h**l out.

You wont get in trouble as this could be self defense or what they call "mutual combat".

I personally would call 911...if he started it, I'd have nothing to fear...it was self-defense, if I left without calling 911 and something happened and he laid there a bled internally, I'd be accused of murder, even in self-defense, for failing to call assistance.  I wouldn't feel like I owed him this by any measure, it would just be the right thing to do.

I know somebody who ended up getting 8 years in jail on manslaughter for this. The guys neck was injured and he suffocated.

I'm assuming he's dangerous and you knocked him out in self-defense.  I would suggest contacting the proper authorities to come get him before he wakes up and tries to hurt someone else.  Also, it's not right to leave someone unconscious and vulnerable anyway.  So that's another reason to have them come get him.

no, you should try to wake him up and if he doesnt wake up you should call for an ambulance. if he started it you shouldnt be in any trouble.

Drag him where the cars can't hit him.

Find his mobile phone and call his recent callers to pick him up.

Don't bother carrying him...that's too much work for me..lol..besides, sleeping under the stars and fresh air will do his temper good.

I would call for help.  If you leave him and something is seriously wrong , you can be held liable for his death.  It's best to call paramedic to get him quick medical attention.   It's best to be safe than sorry.
