If you get your arms waxed...?

Question

Does the hair grow back thicker and longer as it would with shaveing? (not that i've ever shaved my arms lol) It's just i've noticed mine getting longer than i feel comfortable with. Is this the same with any part of the body?

no your hair will not grow back thinker and longer if you wax. Even when you shave your hair doesn't come back thicker it just seems that way because you cut across the hair shaft.

i am a beauty student at college and i wax my arms.

it has a much nicer result. i waxed it for the first few times and now i just shave them like once in a blue moon if i have a shaver in the shower before i go out on a night out. but waxing is much better but i wear fake tan and waxing takes off the fake tan. lol

Waxing is better if you really need to do this, it will over time make the re-growth less. but can be patchy i.e some parts no hair, some parts with some hair, although this is after 10 yrs or so, also with waxing you do not need to wax as often as you need to shave which is every day or so for the latter.

I would however, advise against waxing or shaving your arms, as they are more visible than the legs, under arms etc so the re-growth will be more visible.

If the hair is really bad then you can get hair removed by laser, but this is unfortunately quite expensive, however after so many treatments the hair will not re-grow.

Yes if you shave the hairs on your arms they WILL grow back thicker and hairy! as I know! I was part of a group of girls at school who said we would all shave our arms !lol and later we found that the hairs grew back thicker! so if you must I think waxing would be better! he he
