Ghostly spirits or not...if you don't pay your mortgage, they will repossess it.

Exorcism is the practice of removing demons and the like by invoking the power of/in the name of Jesus, so technically no, seeing as the light overpowers the dark (think Jesus banishing Lucifer to h**l).

Also, the exorcism of a house would only protect the house itself (the structure) so were you possessed outside of it, you could unintentionally bring demons back into the house, requiring another exorcism.
