  1. Yes! I provided a link below for your viewing. Have fun! The Caribbean is gorgeous!!!

  2. There seems to be some confusion over this question. The government website says "no passport" if you are a US citizen departing from a US port and return to a US Port but some cruise lines like Royal Caribbean require a passport.

Call your cruise line to comfirm their requirements, and if you have time apply for a passport . You can download the forms from the web but you apply in person at any post office. Instructions are also posted.

If you are flying to the Bahamas, a passport is required.

    Good Luck)

  3. Yes you will. We are actually going to the Bahamas next month, Oh and right now passports are about 2-3 weeks delayed which isn't bad! Don't pay for expedited shipping it isn't worth it. Also get it from the post office none of those phoney sites! Have a great time in paradise!

  4. YES... the Bahamas are BRITISH so they qualify as a FOREIGN COUNTRY... and you need a PASSPORT to enter a foreign country or to return to the U.S. FROM a foreign country.

In fact, you need a passport when re-entering the U.S. by air or ship and, after January 2009... if you just want to walk back in from Mexico.
