If you go to your GP and ask for a medical cert, can they refuse?

You just say you are ill or have fever - will they give it to you?

A guess of mine because I never asked for one.

I suppose if you have a REAL medical condition and need the proof for your teacher/boss whatever, I do not think they can refuse..( I wonder if some GPs ask for a small fee though.......depending on countries)

But if you intend to cheat to just take time off I would say it would be very unethical for a GP to provide you with medical cert and I guess most would refuse.
