  1. You can't make correct judgment without a correct assumption.  I just don't think the assumption that "going vegetarian would save 3 children's lives" is possible at all.

  2. omg, without a shadow of doubt, I would do it..

meat is not necessary in our diets, therefore we could survive a healthy nutricous diet without meat.

Un-needed possessions we all have far to many of them..give them away, unclutter your life..free yourself from all the c**p you own which has no sentimenance to you..you will feel lighter immediately, and if it saves others lives, we would be fools not to say selfish if we didnt.

    Hope that eases your curiousity.

  3. It isn't all that bad and just think, You won't be eating something that was walking around a while ago .

  4. Sure, I'd go vegetarian.  I'd like updates on the kids, though. But I'm not extremely-extremely attatched to meat (meat products might be a challenge), and three people's lives in my hands would be a welcome ego boost.

Giving up the 'un-needed' posessions...well, good justification. 'I need to throw the couch out, to save the children!' So sure.  It's not the giving up I'd even mind so much as the work of getting rid of them.

  5. To save someones life? To save a child? Course i'd give up meat! Wouldn't everyone when faced with that decision? Those children are someone's daughter/son, granddaughter/son, niece or nephew or friend. If it was your child wouldn't you give up meat?

"Un-needed possessions"? Yeah I could give them up, I could re-buy new ones sure when i needed them! I'd find it really hard to give up family photos but I could put family photos on my computer which i do need for work.

  6. I already have...

As for the "un-needed posessions", that's a different story. Who is to say what is unneeded? That's the problem.

  7. It depends, which kids? some kids across the ocean somewhere? or my nieces and nephews., or other close relations? If it was my OWN KIDS definitely yes. if was my nieces or nephews probably. If it was my friends kids, probably. anybody else probably NOT.  I don't believe in those save a child charities. the problem is that third world countries already have more population than they can support. helping the kids live long enough to grow up and breed more kids that their local economy is unable to support just ADDS to the problem.

  8. yep

  9. Course i would. I couldn't imagine anyone that wouldn't if it came to the crunch.

  10. It'd be an adjustment, but heck yeah I'd go vegetarian!

  11. of course

  12. With all the pleasure, as long as the cause is a very good and valid,

  13. do i get to at least be an ovo-lacto vegatarien?
