If you got a fishing fine in Cananda, and live in the United States, Will they take your licenses away here?

Got a fishing fine in canada it says if unpaid they will suspend your drivers license, anyone know if that means they will suspend them here in the us or you will be suspend in canada?

  1. I don't think there's any reciprocity between fish and game departments and the DMV here, much less between entirely different countries. Better pay them if you plan on ever going back to Canada, though, because the fine's not going to simply go away.


  2. Honestly, do not think they have the jurisdiction ta' do that but, to be on the safe side ~ think I'd pay em' and be done with it. Just a thought ;)... < ' ( (( > <

  3. Typical Americans, they come up for a week, spend almost no $ while they're here, and then think it's ok to keep more than their limit (or camp on crown land without an non-resident permit, or leave garbage behind, etc). And you didn't even pay your fine?

    They won't do anything to your license in the US.  Just don't come back to Canada for your next fishing trip.  Seriously, don't come back.
