If you got to pick first in Fantasy Football Draft?

If you got to pick first in your fantasy football draft, who would you pick an why?

Landanian Tomlinson because his one of the only RBs who will get 300carries this yr and his the best RB in the league

why i wouldnt take brady #1- There are other great QBs later. No 300carry backs later

LT because he is a proven back or I might take a chance on Brady because even if he drops of from last years totals he will still have a great season.

It is no question, if anyone with the first pick doesn't take LT they are a moron.

(You can even look at San Diego's schedule, LT is going to kill this year)

L. Tomlinson, RB....because he has been consistent for a number of years for both td's and rushing yards.

P. Manning/T. Brady, both QB's...because they too have been EXTREMELY consistent with scoring td's, but with limited int's. Some people choose T. Romo, I believe that last year will not be repeated, and he has high numbers with INT's, plus T. Owens has a split personality.

When I pic my players, I look at a combination of things, 2008 projections AND past performance, league experience, QB, the team they are with(if they are balanced or run heavy vs. pass heavy) and past injuries/age.

Keep in mind, a running back AND quarterbacks are only as good as their O line, and wide receivers & TE's can be limited by the performance of QB & team style of offense(this can also be very important for RB's). ex. teams that use the "westcoast" offense, are known for their QB's & WR's, but not their RB's, because they throw more.

adrian peterson...rb's get you the most points in most leagues and adrian led all rbs last year...his rookie year.

LaDanian Tomlinson. Hes the best RB in the game. Running backs generally score the most points and LT has a great offensive line and is just a great player. Also you dont have to worry about him splitting time with anyone like adrian peterson likley will. And Tomlinson never gets injured so just a smart pick to get LaDanain

Brian Westbrook

Why not Adrian Peterson- He is a HUGE risk. With only one proven year you never know what could happen. Also he seems to share carries with Taylor and that could happen more and more.

Why not LT-  LT is getting old and is on a team where everything is pretty much uncertain. Again a big risk.

Why Brian Westbrook- probably the lowest risk player out there. He has always been consistant and the Eagles head coach along with McNabb seem to like him and want him to get as many carries as possible. Also with the Eagles not so good recieving corps he could begin to see more and more carries. Also I prefer to go with a lower risk with my 1st round draft and that would be Westbrook.

Jeff Garcia, that guy is just trying to s***w you up. Take Adrian Peterson of Minnesota. You could take a quarterback like Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, but if no-one has taken Peterson, then take him because he will be a hot commodity. Keep Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams(Det WR) on your radar because those guys could be steals. These guys are going to score at least 12 touchdowns each and eat up at least 1,000 yards each. If you want the rest of your league to laugh at you pick brady or manning. If you want to win pick LT every year he carries the ball a ton of times and either leads the league in rushing like he did last year or in touchdowns like he did the year before. LT is a fantasy constant everyone else is an unnecessary risk, if someone else ends up scoring more points so be it with LT you get peace of mind and know just what you are getting and you can build a team around him knowing exactly what you are gonna get every week.

I second Chris S. if you dont take LT first you are a moron. Every year you see some guy who thinks they are a step ahead of the game pass on LT and they end up  getting burned.
