Question:

If you had 3 kids, #2 has already died from a genetic condition (#3 has also), would you have another child?

I just read a story about a woman asking for help in this situation. She knew she couldn't provide what #3 child needed, but WANTED another. #4 may ALSO have the condition. Someone help me understand this.

  1. i don't know. it's easy to give advice but when it comes to you it's far more difficult


  2. i think she is wanting to be a loving, nurturing parent that hopes/prays to have a child "without" that genetic condition. the desire, longing, yearning to have a child is very, very strong within her. i can relate. my son died at 4 months.

  4. There is no understanding it. No I would not have another child in this situation I would adopt.
