If you had a c section did you have this??

Question

I had an emergency c section 3 weeks ago. TOnight I was laying here and i touched my incision (1st time--cause I just couldnt get myself to touch it before) and i felt like a hard bump. So i get up and go look in the bathroom mirror and touch it again no bump looks normal just like it has. Lay back down and the bumps back its at the end on the right side and its like a hard bump. What is it? Is it normal?? Like I said Ive never felt it so i dont know if its alwys there or not. Thanks!

It's probably scar tissue forming, unless it's red and swollen or inflamed you don't need to worry.  Go enjoy your little one. ;-)

I had the exact same thing on my incision. I never asked my doctor about it so I don't know what it was. My only problem was that I got a rash because I didn't keep it dry. I would say that it is normal and mine eventually went away. I had a section 9 months ago and the skin around my incision is still numb. Congrats! and Good Luck!

P.S. Mine itched like crazy too.

i had it too, it will go down its just scar tissue forming in abundance. your scar will be numb for a while so dont let that freak you out either. make sure it stays dry and you relax as much as possible :)
