  1. um wimbledon...who would pick anything but?

  2. Wimbledon because it is in my country, so i would have lots of supporters. It is a traditional grass court and the crowds are great.

  3. no doubt about it , wimbledon.-

cause its prestige and everything that's wimbledon.-

    :)

ps: but since i'm just an amateur player, haha, i'll be happy if andy roddick wins it, :)

  4. Wimbledon. It has so much tradition and it must be an honor to win there. It is such a beautiful place and I would love to be part of the past champions there.

  5. The first thing comes to my mind when I click this topic is

    " Wimbledon "..

because it is the only grass court grand slam and it's the original court of tennis ..

    :)

  6. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say The Australian Open. It has kind of a "special" meaning to me. It was the first Grand Slam I ever watched in my life. And I believe Serena Williams won it.

  7. I would want to win at Roland Garros because I love the French people, the French culture, and the French language. I also love the city of Paris.

Wimbledon would a close second and I would have the same reasoning as you.

  8. yea wimbledon. its the biggest, pays great cash and its in England. id love to go outta da country just so people cud watch me play tennis.

  9. I would have to agree with you regarding Wimbledon due to it's amazing history and setting.  I actually consider it to be the major of the majors, and in my opinion has a higher level of prestige than the other majors.

  10. If I had to pick I'd say Wimbledon. It's my favorite grandslam and I love the tradition and the elegance. Plus the prize money is great, I love the green grass, and it's the place to make a fashion statement and everyone wears all white as part of the tradition. I would want Federer, Borg, Sampras, Graf and the Williams Sisters there to see it. I also love how wonderful the crowd is also there respectful and gracious. After I won I'd curtsy to them.

  11. Wimbledon is great for tradition but I would prefer the French Open as it is the hardest surface to play on. I mean 3 hours of tennis on clay is very tough & I think the grand slam tournament which most of the players in the world want to win is the French Open as you need special skills when playing on clay compared to other surfaces.

    Cheers !

  12. Wimbledon for sure! The whole atmosphere there is over-whelming. There are so many years of history in there, and everything's so graceful and elegant. Its BEAUTIFUL! I'd love to play there if I ever get the chance.

  13. Wimbledon-the tradition, history, white outfits, strawberries and cream, members badge, the ball.....

  14. US open

    but probably wimbledon

  16. Same as you, Wimbledon, i watch it every year and wish i could win it! And i'm from england so all of the country would be watching.
