if you, yourself [obviously this is a HYPOTHESIS, i KNOW you cannot make that choice, but in this scenario let's say that you can] to make the decision that your child be g*y or have a kid at 14 [teenage pregnancy] and you could only choose ONE, what would your choice be. This question came from a debate i was having with a co-working when we learned about Palin's daugther being pregnant. So which would you choose?

once again it's a HYPOTHESIS, i know you CAN'T choose. so if you say well i can't choose, just don't answer. you really don't have to answer.

  1. Well, okay, if the pretty picture the g*y community paints us, as g**s wanting to be like the rest of us, and getting married, were true- it would be okay but you do know there is still rampant AIDS and stuff in the male g*y community because they DO tend to have LOTS more casual s*x than even the most horn dogs among the rest of us.

I would rather my kid have a baby and I had to raise it than see them die very young of AIDS.

And you know, since AIDS is in the straight community, the promiscuous among them too, are going to have a big horrible surprise one day too.

  2. Well if it were in my power, I would rather my child be g*y than to have a child of it's own at such a young age. h**l, I was 21 when I had my first child and still felt I was too young.

  3. i would rather become a grandfather being g*y is not natural, if everyone was g*y it would be the end of man, think about it

  4. WHAT'S WRONG HERE "i would prefer my daughter be pregnant than g*y , i can be there for her she can still go to school and make something of her life , just she will have to learn that she will have to make sacrifices . A g*y daughter or son will most likely remain g*y and there fore have no recourse for his or her actions , this means they cant ask for forgiveness as they will most likely be always g*y ,a daughter that made a mistake having s*x and got pregnant most certainly can review her actions and repent  of such

  5. I would vastly prefer my child to be g*y than to be a teenage parent.

  6. Have the kid.  Practicing g*y activities is a sin

  7. It's especially hypothetical because I don't even had a kid!

Out of those, I think I'd prefer any child I might have to be g*y rather than a teenage parent; being homosexual won't mess your life up to the same extent that having a child when *you* are still a child will.

  8. g*y. g*y is not a choice. If my child were g*y, I would help them adjust and live the best life possible.

I was a teenage mother. It is very difficult. You have to give up a lot and change a lot of your plans/dreams to accommodate it. It is also a choice.  Proper education can help prevent this.

In either case, I would always be a loving and supporting mother.

  9. I've heard many say, "I wish I weren't g*y."

I haven't heard may say, "I wish my child wasn't born." Even when the circumstances of the pregnancy were very difficult.

  10. g*y, g*y, g*y, g*y, g*y, g*y.

The chances of ruining your life because you are g*y are less than ruining your life and someone elses by having a kid too young.

That being said, I've got a bi-leaning straight-son. I won't lie- I told him if he could live without men until college to do so, because high school kids are often evil. If he were, to quote himself, "uber flambé," I would be terrified for him every minute.

*I* had him too young...and *I* was done with High School. Our lives were too hard for too long because I didn't wait.

  11. g*y.  No question.

  12. Definitely g*y. I just don't understand why a teenage girl would allow herself to get pregnant or why a teenage boy would want to be a dad.

  13. Teen pregnancy. for one I get grand kids even though about 10 years earlier than I would expect. for two, it seems a bit more socially accepted.

  14. can't they be both? I'd still love them the same.

Probably g*y though, I'd hope my kid was raised better than to get pregnant before 16, but hey, accidents happen and they are just a kid.

  15. Both can be forgiven (1 Cor 6:9-11).  But with teen pregnancy I could have biological grandchildren, homosexual behavior cannot reproduce.  A very interesting dilemma you propose.

    Homosexuality can mess-up a person's life.

Teen pregnancy creates its own set of problems in today's society.

Hmmmm.  Which to choose.  This is difficult.

Maybe I should just pray I do not have to deal with either.

  16. I'd much rather a g*y child. Because Teenage pregnancy brings up so many issues: Does the child's father/mother want it, how will they support the baby, will they go to college, get a good job, be able to move away from home, are they emotionally and mentally mature enough to raise a child well yet???

  17. g*y. A child raising a child is not a good thing.

  18. g*y.

    Teenage parenting is not good.

  19. Well, I would choose having a homosexual child, because that would be far easier to deal with.

  20. I'd rather my child be pregnant.

But in reality I would just want my kids to be happy. (Even if they were g*y.)

  21. pregnant

  22. I would rather my child choose what she believes is right for her.

  23. g*y. So what? g**s have a good life. Who needs grandchildren?

Teen parent (at 14, especially) usually means a life of regret and missed opportunities.

  24. WISE QUESTION...!!! For a voting Republican it is a teen unmarried parent...!!!

  25. being g*y isn't a bad thing, in my opinion. I would obviously never want my child to be a teen parent, but if being g*y is what he/she wants, go for it.

  26. either one is ok with me

remember Jesus had a teen mother

Mary gave birth at 15 so most likely she got pregnant at 14

  27. definitely being g*y. Being g*y is only 'bad' because some old jerks think it is (not referring to religion) and so they spread lies about you and make your life h**l.

  28. Well, I would have to say pregnant. Only because I was a teen mother and things have been pretty easy after the first few years. Now I have everything that late life mothers have. I see so much hatred towards g**s and I wouldn't want my child to have to endure that their whole life.

btw it's real nice how somebody is going through putting a thumbs down to everyone who says pregnant. I didn't know this was a right or wrong question.

  29. I would choose for my child to be a teen parent.

It would break my heart to see my g*y child face a world of prejudice and hatred their entire life.  And I'd live in fear that my child would become a victim of such hatred.

And for the record, I'll love my children no matter what.

  30. g*y. Teen parents are always trainwrecks. g**s are fun!

  31. I dunno..  Being g*y in today's society is probably every bit as hard as being pregnant at 14, but eventually she will grow older and be accepted by most people.

It really depends on which life path would result in her happiness, not mine.  I would not love her any less regardless of either scenario.
