If you had a choice of detention or being paddled in school for your punishment what would it be.?

Well I go to a school and if you get punished they give you a choice of 1hr of detention or be paddled 3 times.

What would you choose?

Detention for an hour because being paddled sounds painful.

Wow, sounds old school. They wouldn't be allowed to do that at my school.

I would choose paddling, because I wouldn't want to look wimpy and I wouldn't want to waste my time in detention.
