  1. i would be happy if the jokey tried his best and rides the horse out to the line . and didnt do a k fallon

  2. No I would not be happy with the jockey beating the horse over the line, but as has already been said, there are rules governing the use of the whip.  The jockey must give the horse time to respond to the whip and if the whip leaves a mark on the horse the jockey will be punished with a ban.

It may appear to some people that a whip is used excessively, but quite often the jockey is merely "showing the horse the whip" by waving it within the horse's sight line so that he thinks it may hit him.

  3. Well in horse racing there are rules govening the amont of time the horse can be hit and where on the body it can be hit

  4. There are rules in racing about the use of the whip. If the jockey beat the h**l out of the horse the jockey might very well face fines and suspensions. In some circumstances your  horse might be disqualified. Say if the horse getting flogged goes sideways to avoid the whip and interferes with another horse. The stewards could disqualify the horse for the jockey's reckless riding and you would not get your money, anyway. So, I prefer the jockeys to ride their best and I do not look for excessive force.

  5. you will find most decent racing fans say no to your question my friend thats why we have the B.H.A. [ the british horse racing authority ] to take appropriate action when things like this happen.
