I have a very beautiful wand made for me by a friend and it works very well. However, having a wand makes me neither a good or a bad witch. I am simply a witch. What I try to be is a good PERSON. I try to make wise chioces and to do good things when I work with magick. Magick itself does not have a color. It is neutral. It is the intent of the user that decides whether it is for good or ill. A wand merely directs the energy I call up to use during the working of a spell or the raising of energies during rituals. I have cast hundreds of circles, created many a spell with my wand. My wand does not glow, or change on it's own. I have seen many beautiful wands, from the most simple craved-wood to complicated jewled silver ones. well i don't know if owning a wand would make you a witch, but id be a witch that was neither good nor evil, or both i guess. id supply myself with every amenity in life so i could spend the rest of my life spending. and since money is the root of all evil, i guess i would be evil in a sense.

-grumbles- There are no evil witches. If anyone claims to be an "evil witch" he or she is not a real witch.

And in answer to your question - I have a magick wand. It doesn't cast sparks, or glow, and if I say "lumos" the tip wont light up. But it works for what I use it for.
