if a had a million bucks (1M USD) i'd go to a country where $ are good... best example, the Philippines... my 1M USD can reach up to 50M PHP. there i can buy luxury condo, a luxury car, nice furnitures and home entertainment. others will be deposited in the bank, and some will be invested in business...

hmm. i would buy open land and build a cute barn and have cute animals like some horses,bunnys,and lots of dogs.  i always dreamed of this when i was little and kinda still do know.  i would give some to my grandparents which i love and obvi some to my friends. and go shopping with them :D that all together is probally way over a million but oh well :P

I not saying this to mock anything( I know some people do) but I would donate it to a homeless shelter...half of it that is :]...and keep the rest for my family's needs and stuff:]

invest in multiple 100 grand CDs prolly about 8, hopefully with a good savings rate first four would be 1 yr and the other 4 would be 2 yrs, buy a decent car in full ( of course your gonna try and get it for as cheap as possible) put 100 grand down on a house. pay car, house insurance and any other bills i could and try to leave myself with around 30 - 50 thousand for food thru out the first yr. and try to survive off the proceeds until i got a nice and comfy then live it up. not to mention i would get a bullshit job to pass the time and have something to do.

first i's buy a suburban house thats not that expensive with a pool for $200,000. then i'd buy a mercades car for $50,000. then i'd invest $200,000.next i'd buy good furniture for $50,000. i'd go on vacation with my family to saudi arabia, bangladesh, india, paris, rome, england, hawii, purter rico, and spain for $200,00. buy nice clothes and shoes for $100,000. and but another house for 100,000 just to give rent and make money. and finally since im 15, i'd spent $100,000 to go to a good college.

I AM 13. BUT MY DREAM IS TO GO TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME SO THAT WOULD BE ABOUT 200K. THEN I WOULD PURCHASE A HOME SO I DON'T HAVE TO LIVE IN A DORM THEN I CAN RENT TO OTHER BROKE COLLEGE STUDENTS CHEAPLY. THEY I WOULD UT SOME AWAY FOR A CAR. THE I WOULD INVEST THE REST SO I CAN HAVE A SECURE FUTURE.

I DON'T WANT TO STRUGGLE OR WORRY LIKE MY PARENTS.

if your giving away a million remember i need it most,but if i had a million,i would stimulate the economy locally,others would travel i'd spend mine here,after paying off my house and fixing it up the way i want,i would help out my kids a bit they are both married with children and could use a hand,but i would keep in mind that the struggle is part of the living part so i wouldn't help them so much as to make it too easy. a man needs work  so quiting work wouldn't be an option ,but with a million i could start a business,and BE the boss, i could get me some people who wanted a job and work and pay them a "living wage for doing it ,i could do things my way and sink or swim on my own merit,i would finally know whether or not i could cut it in the real world..........tom

Well i would first invest it and get more then i would get a better place for me and my mom to live (i'm still a teen)  i'd probably get a condo and after that is settled i'd get a car and then after that i would start a foundation to help single mothers because that's what my mom went through and it was very hard for her. I would bring a lot of media into it so celebs could donate and do something with those millions they're racking in each year and then i would use some donations to give to the invisible children in africa to help stop children being soldiers and then with the rest of my money invest again get some more and just keep doing that along with opening up some businesses and eventually get enough money to retire early but i would still go to college of course.

I have a million dollars. Actually a good deal more. It is in bank accounts, 401K accounts an IRA, stocks, mutual funds, etc. It is set aside for my retirement. I figure I need about 2 million more and I can retire.

Truthfully, I'd pay off my mother's "college" loans, that she had to get out for me.  I wish I could help her now, however, with me having my own...My mother shouldn't have to deal with that.  If I would have known the consequences of my going to college, I'd never went.  I didn't make it, I quit, the school kicked me out for being sick.   But she still has to pay off the bank loans.  

With the other bucks, I'd probably take in a house, that large enough for my husband and myself, and take in all the stray cats and dogs.

I'd buy a nice house, but not a huge house(cuz it'd be only lil ol' me). I'd also give some to charity. I'd buy some other nice things, perhaps nicer close, some gifts for my family. I'd also save a substantial amount for future purposes. Maybe get a therapist to keep the money from going to my head.
