Just curious.....I'm new to advertising a website and am trying to avoid pitfalls.

Besides obvious word of mouth/net, Google Adwords, Yahoo!, etc. are some spots Ive heard that are decent at getting a site promoted as well as properly done meta tags.

What would you do?

  1. Do you have a database of email addresses?  Do you have people that would forward out an email for you if you don't have a formal database?

Use video email !!  Drive more traffic to your website, using video!  Use the banners to direct the traffic!  It's viral, it's economic and you can have it for less than $10 a month!

Check out the email called "Sports Promotion" on the Examples page.

Good luck (if you are visionary and have an imagination!)
