If you had a time machine and could go back in time, where would you go and why?

I would go back to the time of jesus and make sure he didn't pull any tricks, learn his illusionist secrets, and return to the present to find no one remembers him.

i would go back to the biblical times and meet Jesus , that would be awsome ,but since time machine isn't made yet, i have to wait atleast another 70 or 80 years

Back to when my grandmother was a little girl, so I could see her  enjoying her youth, and get to know her as she was at that time.

I would go back and smack slave owners...and i would have brought a taser with me...and i would go back to 9/10/01 and alert airlines of the 9/11/01 threat.

is this for homework? can you interfere with your surroundings like Homer and the toaster?  If I could interfere and change history I'd stop columbus from reaching the Americas.  If you can only look I'd watch Roswell, New Mexico to see the Alien crash.
