  1. I would go back to before we invaded Korea so I could meet my grandfather. He was in Japan with my dad and grandma. He was killed July 16,  1958 so anytime before then.

  2. probably to somewhere in Europe during the stone age, to see how early homo sapians actually lived.  We know a lot a but the ancient world, because they left some written records, but before that when we were hunter gathers, we know very little cause we only find small clues, and it is really hard to decifer how they lived, how they hunted, what plants they used, if they used plants we know to be healing.

  3.   Ok, Im assuming I can carry things like cameras with me, and I can return any time I choose. On that basis:

Titanic. I'd love to get video records of that cruise, and especially the final hours of the ship. As the ship rots away and artifacts lost, we are losing our last chance to retain some memory of many of the people who died that night.

Judea, around 30 CE. Find out once and for all what the truth is about the Jesus story. See how the real events match up to the commonly accepted stories. And yes, see if Jesus was "the son of God."

Ancient Troy at the time of the Trojan War. Again, to take the chance to sort myth and legend from reality.

Rome at the time of Julius Caesar. To see some of the historical figures and the time they lived, as well as sample the daily life of a Roman plebian.

The Roman empire around 125CE. I'd like to do a "grand tour" of the empire, from north to south, and east to west, to see what it was like to live in such a large empire that didn't have the communications and travel modes we have today.

Aboard one of the ships at the battle of Trafalgar. The Victory would be nice, but I'd be happy aboard any of them. This would be the most difficult one to "blend in" with of course, but to see such a pivotal naval battle would be worth the risk,

  4. Tough choice for curiosity sake the beginning of the Universe to see how everything came into being.  For cultural sake Florence at the beginning of the Renaissance to see the rebirth of human thought.  Just for the h**l of it the wild west before it was settled for a sence of peace. The future for the unknown.

  5. back to Paris in the last decades of the 1700's, to work in the kitchens of the fathers of modern cuisine, especially with Boulanger.

or back to the year before the vietnam war, so i could meet my grandfather.

or to the time of Alexander the great, just to witness the greatness of the man who ruled the entire world of his time.
