I've had a £350 windfall (compliments of HM Revenue & Customs refund!) and can't think what to do with it!!

Hubby has told me I HAVE to spend it on myself not everyone else but I can't think of anything I want or need...but I can think of things I want to buy everyone else!

Anyone got any ideas of what I could do??

I don't like buying for myself and if I leave it in the bank I will waste it away in dribs and drabs on little gifts etc for others...

and before anyone asks....I am NOT sending it to you! lololol

  1. use it for days out for the family

  2. my mum never bought anything for herself, always gave to others, she was so looking forward to getting her pension weekly to have money of her own, just before her 60th she was diagnosed with advanced cancer and died at 61, she never got the chance to go round shops like she wanted, was t total and never ever tried smoking or drinking, now i at 21 find myself not buying make up etc so me and my boyfriend can get takeaways etc and i know my mum would be so upset, i just feel like unless i do without we both will have to. dont spend it on anyone else!!

    things to but for you

    HANDBAG

    NEW UNDERWEAR (s**y )

FACIAL CREAMS, NAIL VARNISH, OH GET YOUR NAILS DONE, GEL NAILS LOOK BETTER)

    SHOES

GOING OUT CLOTHES, A SKIRT , NICE TOP

GO TO HAIRDRESSER GET A NEW LOOK

NOW YOU ARE ALL KITTED OUT FOR A NIGHT OUT, GO OUT WITH YOUR HUSBAND,   (YOU ARE VERY LUCKY HE IS INSISTING YOU SPEND IT ON YOURSELF , A LOT OF MEN WOULD SAY OH GREAT, WHAT SHALL ##WE## DO WITH IT,

SPEND THE REMAINING ON A BABYSITTER IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN OR STAY IN A HOTEL FOR THE NIGHT

  3. just some new sofas or maybe geta new table and chairs for your kitchen/dining room or u could get a new computer or tv or something like that just go on down to b&q or focus or even dfs/currys/comet electricals

  4. Research where you can get the best interest, and save it there as an emergency fund.   Choose an account that you cannot make random withdrawals on  -  if you later find something you would like, you'll be glad you didn't spend it now.

  5. Treat yourself and your best friend to a whole day of massage and beauty treatments - spoil both of you with manicures, pedicures, skin treatments etc in absolutely lovely surroundings.

Soak up the pampering and serenity.

  6. i would go on a £200 shopping spree, clothes, shoes, maybe have my hair done and a big box of luxury choccies ! then spend the rest on some tickets i want !

  7. i can also think of plenty of things to buy for other people, or the house.

but if i HAD to spend it on me, i woudlnt want to do it alone haha

so i would go get my hair done(£40), buy a new outfit (£50), take my husband out to the cinema (£20) and for a meal(£60).

    thats £170... so i have £180 left.......

and the next day, id ermm... get another new outift (£50) haha and take the kids out for the day. pizza hut (their fave, £35)

that leaves me with £95. flippin eck, this is well hard to spend.

ermmmmmmmm we could go for a day out, somewhere weve not been before, like a science museum, or play area thing. and if its sunny id get lots of nice expensive food for a picnic.

    there! gone!

  8. It would be a drop in the ocean for me.

    Ocean of debts I mean.

  9. Oh, I don't want you to send it to me.. Spend it on yourself. Quick, before gas go'es up again..
