If you had an extra thousand dollars??

Put it towards a new roof.  We desperately need one.  My husband is getting a loan for one this weekend.  Hopefully in a few weeks we will have our new roof.

Those are the only rooms we didn't get to before the baby arrived/we ran out of money (same thing, right?).

I'd just put it into the checking account and use it on the usuals food, gas, house, car, other bills etc....boring I know but I haven't been frivolous since we were both working

I would buy things I need now for the baby on the way which I am due November. Buy me some new clothes if I could know want size after the baby born. Buy my oldest son clothes to wear. And save some for emergency has needed.
