Yup i'd still say they were guilty of neglect, Their neglect resulted in Maddie being kidnapped if she was kidnapped however, i do not think that is maddie in the picture.

That is clearly not Madeleine.  That's a good, clear CCTV picture and it would easily have been enhanced and enlarged proving it wasn't her.

I don't know if the woman is 'gripping her wrist' or simply holding her hand firmly.  Either way, I would assume she was making sure the child didn't wander off, making sure she didn't 'lose' her.  In other words, being a responsible parent or carer.

This is the first time I've seen this picture, quite possibly the woman in the photo hasn't seen it before either, maybe that's why she hasn't come forward.

Arbiter. Both Kate and Gerry spent 11 hours at the police station answering dozens of questions shortly after Maddie went missing It was only that they were made official suspects did they refuse to answer on legal advice as was their rights. Would you in all honesty feel comfortable being asked questions from a man like this ?

They are still guilty of neglect. Nothing will ever change that. The bottom line is they left the kids.

Since they are the only parents in the world of a missing child to refuse to answer police questions, help in a reconstruction and admit that their actions were hindering the hunt for their daughter I can only be surprised that anyone can think they should be protected!!!

Under law an inference can be drawn from a person claiming the right to silence.  Surely we do not need a law to allow any sane person to wonder why parents would actively obstruct the hunt for their daughter!!!

Don't forget the PJ have said they are willing to reopen the investigation at any time and surely all it would take is for Kate and Jerry to agree to answer the questions - but when they refuse to do it no doubt the same old people will be saying that is correct!!!

That is not Maddy. Who in their right mind would hours after abducting a child calmly walk into a petrol station with the very same child. But then again McFanns aren't renown for logical thought and clarity, blinded as they are by the Godliness of Kate and Gerry.
