Then were offered a big contract to come play with a team that you grew up and still do hate,(Yankee's), for Yankee's fans,(Red Sox). Would you sign? For example: say they offered you a 5 million dollar contract for 2 years. Would you sign or just stay in the Minor Leagues. I was asked the same question not to long ago. I will tell the person who gets the best answer what I said.

  1. I wouldn't really care. If im still playing baseball i would be still really happy. Of couse you need some money to live but 5 million a year is rather a lot.

  2. You would be an f'n idiot to say no! If you had been stuck in the minors for 5 years, you would probably want some money by then. That is a lot of money to say no to!

  3. Ok, i see where a person would say no, just because thats the rival team and they hate that team, and it would be like playing for the devil. But you have to look at the money. If there is one thing everyone wants more of, its money, and most baseball players would take it because why not u no, you get money. i would take it in a heartbeat so i could do everything i want to do with my life. And i dont care if u say wut u said, but im guessing you play minor league ball. And also 5mil sure is alot for a minor leaguer, but who knows, the yankees dont have a price limit, do they, lol.

  4. That's a tough decision but I would take it and play for the team I hate (Yunkees) because I would get paid more and also have the opportunity to feel what it is like to play in the Big Leagues. Also, in my rookie year, I would probably be kinda bad and still be getting used to the big leagues so I'd probably be increasing the chances that my favorite team(Red Soxs) would make the playoffs. Sooner or later, they would demote me, but still would have to pay me because of the contract, or would trade me to another team, and in that trade, there might be a chance that I could get to play with my favorite team (Red Soxs). So yeah, there's really no loss if I take the contract. :)

  5. I  wouldn't  actually give a rats patatooie about what team I played for .

I'm a professional baseball player ,I get payed to play baseball and somebody is offering me what essentially amounts to a lifetime's worth of wages to play a game for two years.

There is simply no way that I would turn that kind of offer down.

  6. it would depend how much i was getting paid,in the minors, i wouldnt mind not being famouss, but still get 300-500k a year, lol, i would definitly look for other options

  7. For $5 million?  Yes, I'd play for the team that I hate.  The money and the opportunity are worth it.
