The x files motto definitely nails it. Many want to believe, unfortunately because of half-witted rednecks like the ones claiming to have bagged a real one, any credibility has just gone down the drain.

Some people will do anything to earn their 15 minutes of fame.

I saw this story on Anderson Cooper 360 last night. I don't believe it for a second. I would like to believe like you said but you are totally right half-witted rednecks pretty much ruin it. Let them have their 15 minutes of fame, they just look dumb.

The hoaxes need to stop and get to real sightings!  When you do something like this, you take away from the real ?  Does this stuff exist??  I have seen the dashcam video of the Chupacabra in Cuero TX and although I am not a video expert, I believe it is real...what it is...a crossbreed, mutant, new species..I dont know.  If bigfoot is ever found, whoever has the evidence will come forward immediately, not like the dumb*sses from GA who wanted to make a little quick $ to patch up the old trailer and get some cheap beer!!
