type r cause it has better excursion  and also with the rockford p3 when it gets cold out and u turn ur speakers on and they warm up the hard plastic on the front of the woofer cracks and breaks so dont buy them if u buy and rockrord subs get these subs herehttp://www.cartronixplus.com/templates/d...

Fosgat all the way....I had Both, both sound good, but rockford trumps all.

Well, me, I'd go with the '12 Alpine, because I used to have one and that little sucker pounded hard. Or I'd go with a Pioneer Premier TS-W3001D4, something like that, 3,000 watts of power. Yeah, that'll tickle your pickle for a while. Or Legacy LSW157, 4,000 watts, 4 Ohm.
