  1. auckland - no idea..never been there

but if its sydney.. haha.. i could go on 4ever!

if at that time i feel like having a steak, i would go for Prime restaurant, they have the best steak in Sydney

if at that time i was looking for romantic and professional service, of course Est. at the establishment could always satisfy

if at that time i feel like having french? Bistro Garden Court in Sofitel Wentworth would blow me away..

and if i simply feel like having seafood? fish face @ darlinghurst..nyummmmm

so it really depends what i feel like having that nite, but def between those restaurants :)

  2. Little Italy. No question about it. Everything good for you, service perfect and food absolutely delightful. The atmospshere is just fantastic too and i dine with food critic freinds so they know their stuff!

  3. Auckland for sure, great city, much better than sydney

  4. I have never been to Auckland so can't answer that part of the question but Sydney has many wonderful restaurants.  My favourite is the Rockpool in the Rocks area of Sydney.  It is owned by chef Neil Perry and the food is divine.  He does what they call the 'degustation menu' which is about 15 courses.  You get small servings of a wonderful variety of fresh local produce cooked with amazing flavours.  Hope this helps.

  5. There is no shortage of good restaurants in Sydney but I think you would want one with a good view as well so either the Summit up on the tower, or Darling harbour ( just walk around and see which restaurant you fancy. You can take a Ferry to Manly and choose a restaurant there.

But my favourite would be iceberg on Bondi.

  6. I Cant really recommend a restaurant in Auckland, but in Sydney I would suggest you get a water-taxi out to Watsons Bay and go to Doyle's the seafood restaurant. Our, if your trip isn't for a while, the hottest place to be is Tetsuyas, but you have to book well in advance.
