the circumstances are these: you can go to the moon, where you will have a nice lunar house. In the house, u have a t.v (getting every channel on earth), and plenty of food. The catch is, you must go ALONE, and you must stay for 1 whole year. You can bring no pets either, only your favorite 3 movies, and favorite 5 Cd's. Would you go, to be one of the few people EVER to be on the moon? Or would you be too scared/ longley? I'd go... how many people can say they've lived on the moon?

  1. The circumstances i'd worry about are radiation, food, radiation, radiation and probably radiation.

I'd be happy with a working laptop.

But i'd expect to be too busy on the Moon to use it much. There's not much free time on the International Space Station.

  2. I would go, as being on the moon is a once in not every lifetime opportunities. It is only a year, and you could make millions with the research and collections you make. It would be brilliant!

  3. I would go its sounds awesome, but i might get bored, but im always bored so whats the difference.

  4. I would. if its all paid up and why not. It will be a experience of lifetime.

Just cover my assets on earth till I come back.

Awesome. I even don't need movies and Cd's, just ample food. it will give me time to think about you all.

  5. I wouldn't do it unless you got rid of the TV.  (Could I take some books?  Can I use the Internet?)

  6. It's a moot question. A hundred years from now, there will probably be thousands living on the moon and none of them will ever have heard of the first person to live there.

  7. Absolutely, yes. One year, ten years, a hundred, I don't CARE! Just get me off this benighted rock!

  8. No way.  It would be just like prison, only with no chance of escape.  Having been on a nuclear sub, I can say that 2 month spec-ops get really old and that's with 120 of your closest friends.  That is as close to space travel as I care to experience.  You have access to a lot more movies, I suspect Ipods are common nowadays.  You can keep your moon.  Nothing would ever change.  I would go mad.
