Great try but I am already locked in a massive legal battle with Google as I believe I would of dreamt this name and idea up in the near future somewhere with my super powers given to me from a travelling space alien called 'Furp"..... :)

I suggest your website name should be...

(a) Easy to brand.

Let's face it, most people have heard of yahoo.com or google.com, and I'm sure you'd know where to find Facebook on the Internet.

(b) Easy to remember.

Could someone remember the name of your site if they saw it advertised on the back of a bus for 3 seconds? If not, it's too complicated!

(c) Easy to type in.

Facebook.com is easy to type in to my browser to get to. myfavouritesocialsiteofalltime.com is not, and it's not easy to remember either!

(d) Search engine friendly.

If you're aiming to target a certain niche or market with your site, then it's a good idea to try and get one or two keywords related to that niche in your site name.

So if you're targetting work at home people, for example, then if you picked a site name such as workathomewiz.com, it contains those words and may be easier for the search engines to pick up when someone searches for those words.
