  1. ha,   hahahaha ,  never, my dad had 1 when he was a teen, and he said that he SO high strung, he would go nuts, 4 examplethey had no door 2 the laundry room, so they built a plywood door about 3 ft high, and when they were gone 1ce, he had jumped over it and destroyed the house, like im talking, eating his mom's new camel haired coat, and digging a hole in the carpet, they made the door bigger, and he jumped over it agan!  also he was so strong, he chewed through rope, and he broke chains, so eventually, they had 2 put this massive chain on this little dog, but omg,  i will never in my life get a beagle, never, im leaning towards a westie, or a berner. :D

  2. I would not.  Its not that beagles are not great dogs..  but a beagle just would not be a good match for my lifestyle.

  3. I love the look of a beagle.  I have a beagle terrier mix and he's the best dog I've ever had.  I had one as a kid also and she was great also.  I lucked out cause this one is playful but he minds his commands and doesn't have a howl at all.  He goes everywhere with us and is great in the car and with other dogs and people.  He's laying here on my lap now being sssoooo cute, just as he always is.  I love him soo much.  He's the bes for us.

  4. Yes I would I have beagles and basset.  I love my beagles

  5. No - I wouldn't get a Beagle.

But then, you most likely wouldn't get a Greyhound either.

    : )

    I like big dogs!

  6. If i could i would (even though i like ginormous dogs) but its getting tougher to convince my parents to let me have my own dog and my mom doesn't like Beagles cuz they bark so much and so loud

  7. Nope.

They're real sweeties, but just not the breed for me.

  8. Nope, I prefer Bassets.

  9. well it depends really on if they had a good or bad past, they can be nice dogs but very noisy, and they have a lot of problems with their hips! So far the only dog that hasn't been found with a problem is the Samoyed! So i wouldn't get a beagle because they cause a lot of noise a lot to spend on and a lot to take care of! They are sweet and loyal though and can be if trained well good guard dogs! I grew up with four dogs and love them still! My friend used to have a beagle and her  neighbors hated that dog for the noise! There still sweet and cute! :D

  10. no way. beagles are so barky and hyper and annoying.

  11. I have a 1.5 year old Beagle, named Cooper. She doesn't bark unless she hears someone knock on the door, drive into the yard, or when she is playing. She's kicked back in the chair right now snoozing. I love Beagles and Bassets, and we're in the process of adopting a 2 year old Beagle from the shelter.

I think it's harsh that you say, "no wonder there are always beagles in that shelter" - If you don't want your dog, I'll take him/her. I love animals, especially dogs, regardless of the breed. We had all kinds of dogs when I was growing up and my parents would pick up strays or abandoned dogs off the side of the road. If we could nuture them back to health, we kept them, if not we took them to the shelter. I tried to rescue a coon/fox hound just last Saturday, unfortunately the poor fella was too abused and too scared to come near me. We've had tons of breeds, and I don't dislike any of them. If you feel this way about animals, you shouldn't have them.

  12. No...they dont really do it for me, I think they are great dogs, just not a great dog for me!!!

  13. Nopes! Beagles are one of my least favorite dog breeds - I always call them bugles..

  14. No.  Cute dogs but totally wrong for me

  15. nope cuz i already got one  her name is molly and she is 7 years old  and still really nice and actively playful

  16. OF course!!

  17. sorry to say this...but NO!!

I had to foster 2 at the same time, they put me through h**l, with all the wooooww noises at night, chewing, and a pure pain in the Ar$e!!

But im sure judgers is a good wittle doggie!!

  18. One of my best friends has a beagle.... She is the cutest thing.   I love her.   she does have a habbit of whining but besides that, she is an awesome dog.  so my answer would be YES

  19. No.  They are beautiful dogs, but too high energy for me.  My friend has one, and she exhausts me with all the baying lol.

  20. No. Only because after growing up with big and small dogs I prefer big dogs. Not to mention the BF for whatever reason HATES beagles

  21. If it really needed a home & i had the space, time & money then yes i would take it in but it wouldnt be my 1st choice sorry.

My sister on the other hand would have one in a second.

  22. No.  I do not like the sound of their bark...and once while watching Breed All About a Beagle Breeder said "If you don't like the sound of the Beagle's bark, do not get a Beagle!"

I have a Rough Collie, like Lassie only Black, Tan and White...her bark I can handle.  When she barks at me, I cannot help but say things like, "What's that Girl?  A fire at the Anderson Farm?  Let's Get Help!"

  23. No, it's not the breed for me. My next dog will be a Dobermann from working lines.

  24. yes i always wanted one so i can name it snoopy

  25. No way

  26. Nope.

Not the breed for me AT ALL.

Lovely dogs, but I'd rather visit one than live with one.  :]

  27. yup

  28. got a corgi beagle mix and love him to death, and would get a mini beagle in a heart beat, you just have to be on top of the training from the start, i have a mini doxie and the same with her.

  29. ~ No, not at all.  Not my choice of dog.

  30. Nope.

I had the chance.  Found one.  Took it to the pound.

I DID adopt the other dog found WITH the Beagle, though.  Beagles just don't appeal much to me.
