If you had the chance to emigrate, where would you go?

My wife and I have spoke of this in the past and we've narrowed it down to either Australia or New Zealand. I love both countries and simply can't choose between them, though I must say New Zealand is a lot more quietier! Where would you go if you had the chance? or are you happy to stay in your own country? If you really want to help can you tell me what sort of things I would need or have to prove before my wife and I could emigrate?

We immigrate to foreign countries to bring a change in our life that may turn to the way to become wealthier or to get some fame or to live in peace in a place while you already have wealth and fame.

In any case find out what change you want in your life and from where you may get the highest opportunity.

If you are even in a good(may be not better or the best) position in your country then you have more chances to keep you happy and enjoy your life in your own country than any other immigrant country.

We already did, to Cyprus. Were thinking of moving again last year, to Australia but don't think our parents will be too impressed with the distance and the cost to visit us. So, looks like we're staying in Cyprus which is great.

Already have. I live in Spain, and have done for 17 years. But would always consider going somewhere else.........but never back to the UK!!

I would like to live in the States though, more opportunities I think.

i dunno to be honest , australia aint very safe anymore since many illegal immigrants went over there. so if u have to choose between those 2 i suggest new zealand, although that country has many laws that might restrict a person. new zealand is a very expensive country to live in.

At this point things would be pretty much the same nomatter where I am or where I go.  I have got to get this hand fixed, then maybe we'll talk about travel.
