Even if it means leaving family and friends, and life as you know it in general ? Would you risk it not fully knowing how you might adjust?

  1. yeah! in a heart beat!

  2. Yes i would, the world is a huge place (although rapidly getting smaller in a sense). Why stay in the same city or country even, with the occasional visit abroad for a holiday, when you can see many of the beautiful places on our planet. And there is nothing stopping you from returning if you cant adjust, or visiting your family and friends at home, which would be a holiday from your new found life of freedom and adventure. Enjoy it while it lasts.

  3. Yes definitely!!!

  4. IN a FOOKIN HEARTBEAT...

  5. yes, i want to move to england once college is over and done with

  6. Done it twice.  Never again.

I am a southern Englishman.  It is where I am happy and secure.

People who retire to Spain are round the twist!

  7. No - I always thought I would love to until I was actually given the opportunity to move to Australia, but I just couldn't go through with it. I would miss my family and friends too much.

I grew up in a small town in Wales so I think it would be very hard for me to leave a community where everybody knows each other to move to a place where I wouldn't know anybody.

I would move out of my area to the city though - probably Cardiff - because the job opportunities are so much better in larger cities.

  8. yaaaaa

  9. definitely! Britain is nowhere near as exciting or interesting as hundreds of other countries out there. I would say most everyone who wishes to stay here has travelled very little and not to the real parts of the country -  ie. magaluf, and not the real spain

  10. I have really thought about whether I could move from America to England.  I have only visited England for a week but I really liked it, and so did my husband.

I wouldn't feel that out of place because some of my ancestors came from England, albeit several centuries ago, so I feel like it's kind of in my blood anyway.

I would miss the weather in the South, where it's much warmer and sunnier.  I would miss my friends and family (but all the people we met in England were friendly, so maybe it wouldn't be too hard to find a new group of friends.)

I think that if I were to move to another country long-term, I'd need a good job so that I could afford to fly back to America several times a year and see family and friends.

Bottom line:  If I had plenty of money, I'd do it.

  11. yes i want to move to spain when i can!

  12. I would!! I moved to England a few years ago to study there...then I came back to Spain and now I'm moving back to England. I think it is an amazing experience and I will always do it without doubts!!

  13. Definately.  I feel absolutely no loyalty towards England!  I'd move to France tomorrow if I could afford it (and could speak the language, and get a job etc)

  14. My friend just got the opportunity to teach English in Korea and she took it in a heart beat. If I had my degree I would have gone with her, it's an adventure, it's something that you would be able to see and experience for yourself. Your family will always be there and so will your friends, and if they really are your friends they will come visit you like I am doing for my friend that's going to Korea. Have fun with your life, it's the only one you have and if the opportunity has knocked on your door, I would open it.

  15. No, despite things going from bad to worse, I still love this England.
