I seriously would like to be cremated after I die. I do not want to be buried and have my family spend so much money on a dead person. I would most likely want my ashes to be thrown into a pond.

I wouldn't like to be cremated. It pollutes the environment. I would like my remains to be left rotten into soil and grown into a tree. It's like an environmental friendly tombstone.

Cremation is by far the most sensible way to go, after you're gone. People have elaborate and expensive funerals for their loved ones to honor them- when the time to have honored them was when they were alive. A lot of expense, pomp and ceremony, like getting married, except you're checking out.

I also hate it when everyone descends on the immediate family, and the family has to feed this crowd.  Barbaric!

Better the family leaves town for a couple of days, then when they return, let the friends supply all those awful casseroles.

Cremation won't bother me, because I'll be dead.  I have in my will, where I want my ashes scattered.

No it would not bother me.  I would like them scattered in a lake or river.
