If I was brain dead, Texas because the Texas governor has almost no power so all he has to do is go to barbaques and not get drunk. If I was intelligent, I'd be happier in NY. But, Esters Follies in Austin, does make it worth while living there and the Salt l**k makes it even better.

Texas, their Governor gave them more rights for bearing arms to protect them self, and Hillary wants to take our guns, give illegals drivers license, and she is the Senator from NY, sort of anyway, really she has not done much to talk about for NY, but you can bet she controls that Governor.

Texas. Because the elected officials of both parties seem to be able to reach compromises in carrying out the peoples' business instead of engaging in a "gripe-a-thon" every time someone makes a suggestion to improve things or move the process along.

I was born and raised in New York and was able to escape at age 18, never to look back. I have a son and his family living in Texas and I visit them quite often. Compared to the Empire State, the Lone Star State makes sense and does things right, without cleaning out the citizens' wallets and purses in the process.

Texas, with the reason being that Texas politics seems to actually support the private citizens of the state where as New York seems to support the public worker and teacher's unions and trial lawyers. Example, the governor of Texas recently wanted to force medical care on girls between 10-12 and this conflicted with parental rights. The public got pissed and he backed off with some embarrassment.
