If you had to choose a weapon, what would it be?

Lets say you were in a life threatning situation like a riot or a street battle or just in a battlefeild, and you had to choose between a single shot .22lr (lets say you got 100 ammunition) and a machete. Which weapon would you choose? 100 .22lr with a single shot .22 pistol, or a machete?

Also, what weapon would you choose if you were an assasin instead? A .22 Pen Gun (Zip Gun) or a machete? And lets just assume the pen gun was well built so that it dosent explode....

Yes, this may sound like a weird question, but I've just been wondering which is a better weapon.

Sorry if this question sounds like it is in the wrong category, but I have no idea which category it belongs to.

I would take the single shot .22.

Machetes only look cool. You cant think your going to fight a huge battle with a machete. Your not Rambo.

Think realistically. With a .22 rifle you can shoot someone. With a machete you have to be very close and stealthy.

So .22 is the best pick.

I would choose the .22LR...it allows for more distance from the target!

I like the suppressed 22 pistol better than a zip gun. I guess you could build a suppressed zip gun too(?)

I would have to select the 22 single shot rifle. Utilizing cover and concealment with gorilla tactics.

Look, .22s would be like mosquito bites at the bad guys. Give me a 12ga pump action and a Ruger Redhawk or a 1911 in .45 ACP for my holster.

That way, I'd be safe when the s h i t hits the fan

.22 lr.  Stealth and shot placement in both case.  In battle shoot the BG and then take his gun!

.22 long rifle cause thats the only gun i've shot before and i have good accuracy :)

I would prefer a mossberg 590 12 gauge with sidesaddle. .22's are not going to stop crackheads.

I would also be smart and not be mobile unless I have too.

It would depend upon what the other person has.  I wouldn't  want to take a knife to a gun battle.  That just doesn't make much sense to me.
