If you had to choose between Bure or Ovy who would you choose as the best ?

Well, Ovie has knees, so...

Heh, actually, in his prime, Bure was absolutely incredible.  I loved him, but I'd still pick Ovechkin.

Ovy he actually back-checks, passes the puck (to himself lmao) and doesn't hang out at centre ice waiting for a break-out pass. Also as a Finland fan I remain bitter at Bure getting 5 goals in the quarterfinals in Nagano

Ovechkin already beat Bure in most points and goals in one season so that's one thing to take note.

Right now it's still Bure but i'm sure that Ovechkin will beat him by a landslide if he doesn't get injured throughout his career.Bure was amazing but was cut short due to leg injuries.

i thought Kovy did well and would fade off, but i guess he's the exception.

i guess like don cherry says, they start out well, but they physicalness takes a toll on their bodies (not used to all the hitting in europe) and it wears on them

Pavel and Alex are both awesome players. There is no way to choose between the two.

Ovechkin is a more complete player AND almost as fast as Bure was.

Also, remember, Bure was fast in an era where that skill was somewhat uncommon. Ovechkin is a speed merchant in a league built around skating.
