If you had to choose between men and women running the world..who would you pick and why?

It depends for me because men and women have a different style in running things. So it depends for me on the situation.

Women have the multi-tasking thing and men have the logic.

I don't think the world will be less violent if women was in charge. I think it would be about even.

Women are better manipulaters that's why I think it should be women. A man get go to ruin by a women.

ehh it doesn't matter much to me. Give women the chance to rule the world and we'd eff it up just as badly as the men have.

No difference. When it comes to power, we're all egotistical and self-absorbed. It's all about me, me, me.

I think that is because I have more male friends, prefer male doctors, prefer working with males, prefer male bosses.

I just think men tend to be more settled, routined, calm. Women can be very mood swingy and you never know when they will be cool or flipping out. I also trust men more.

Id pick men, after having worked with women closely for the last ten years.  I've never seen such passive agressive viciousness in any male dominated profession like I have with women.  The biggest reason, I don't trust women at all.  And that's just watching how the operate around each other.  It is something to behold.  I shudder just to think of it.  You can thumb me down all you want, I know what I've seen and experienced.  Its not one isolated case either.

I would like to be ruled by women. They mature faster, they are well ahead in nearly all fields of education. There would be much progress for "womankind" if women could unfold creative power at a large scale, being challenged by simply being in charge. Social relations would get an upgrading if women ruled. Hopefully there would be much more reasonable patterns of decision making by females in power.

The world is liable to be run by the people who want to run it.  And more men than women are interested in running things.  Women who seek leadership roles are in the minority, and I think probably always will be.  

Women with sufficent drive and ambition to rise to the top are not much different from men who do the same thing.  A woman who gets to the top is no more or less prone to violence than a man.  We had a woman prime minister in the UK for eleven years, and it made no discernible difference to the political system.

All that 'the world would be a better place if it was run by women' is, in my opinion, a load of bollocks.

I agree with Complicatedtallblonde. I would also choose men. Sure, men aren't perfect, they can be macho and aggressive (think wars), but men aren't as emotionally driven as women tend to be. Quite often, given the same situation, men are more calm when trying to deal with it, while women can be much more emotional and even panic. That's been my experience.
