If you had to choose one COUNTRY to travel too?which COUNTRY would it be and why?

England because I have a few "mates" there, and I speak the language, or a version of it.

Retired Army, been about everywhere in Europe and Mid-East.  I've also been to Africa twice and found it to be a fascinating place with some very nice people.

I wouldn't mind going back to anywhere in West Africa for a few weeks.  Sometimes the less money a country has the nicer and more genuine the people can be...

I've always wanted to travel to countries with EXTENSIVE histories and historic importance.  My top three in order would be:

1) Egypt

2) Greece

3) Israel

I recently traveled to China--wow, talk about surreal! Considering the relatively short history of America (not including Native American history), its incredible, say walking on the Great Wall of China, knowing people stood where you are standing thousands of years ago!  

I would love to walk the same roads Cleopatra, Moses, Jesus, Maty & Joseph, Plato, Julius Caesar, and Aristotle all walked--amazing!

**EDIT** Wow, I just realized this was in a Middle East category--if I had known, I would have said Lebanon!

GREECE, it has the most beautiful islands, tons of history & culture, with the craziest party scenes & nightlife .. plus the guys there are sooo HOT!!!
