If you had to compare, would you say that London is more like Rome or Paris?

I know London is its own city and unlike any other, but I'm trying to decide where I want to go. I've been to both Rome and Paris, so if you had to compare which would you say London is more like (as far as the atmosphere/people go)?

Thanks!

  1. More like Beirut.

  2. It's more like Paris. Both Parisians and Londoners are very busy people. The nightlife is similar, as is its social scene.

Italians are more warm as people, more friendly, and much more flirty and attractive!! Also Rome is so beautiful and has so much history and is very unique. You don't get as many franchises as you do in London and Paris. Rome is very Italian instead of more international like the other two.

  3. definitely more like Paris.  the French are more uptight than the Italians, as are the English.  the weather is more similar to Paris than Rome.

  4. I think more like Paris... Rome is a city unlike any other, and London just cannot compete with the amount of history you see everywhere you look in Rome.

  5. More like Paris. Women don't get pinched often in piazzas in London; there are clearly defined districts in London (formally these are called arrondissements in Paris, but in Rome they aren't as evident to me anyway), there is a greater emphasis on parks in Paris than in Rome, and there are lots of parks in London, plus the vaguely anarchic feeling of Rome, while present to some extent, is not as pronounced in Paris and even less pronounced in Rome. Of course, Rome and Paris are more like each than either is like London.
