If you had to guess how you are going to die, how do you think you will go?

I would wanna die doing a really spectacular stunt. Like jumping from a plane with no parachute on a motorbike while playing the violin. Or a high speed pursuit saving someone's life. The robbers grab a kid as hostage and I chase' em on my motorbike, this is Live on CNN news by the way, with the final count down track playing in the background...

But seriously, do any of you really think about your death? Do you ever meditate and really think that some day, people will be carrying your funeral. Kinda' freaks you out when you're deep in thought - thinking death is inevitable, and YOU will definitely die one day. And the worst is, no-one knows when there time is up. Ask yourself- if you were to die right now, are you ready to face the Lord?

  1. im going to down while scuba diving, I think about death everyday. It can come at anytime. Its always on my mind.

  3. Die in Mecca while I'm doing Hajj or Umrah, hopefully I won't be married or have kids so they do not feel grieved or lost due to my death.

    I do reflect on death but not as much as  I actually should, thank you for the reminder.

  5. Deaths on every1's doorstep and sorry but i don't think deaths any joke. I just heard dis bengali boy stabbed his mum to death becoz she never gave him de money for drugs...and i kicked my bruvas butt for being out so l8 at nyt!!! it really makes me sad...to know some of the unruly things people do.

    Anyways, yes death does scare me and i'm not ready to face my lord, as i believe there is much more i could do to please Allah (swt).

    I want to die a peaceful death probably at sleep and on a friday in makkah...i wish. One day death will take us all...so inshallah we all use our tym here well.

    This is a good reminder that one day we will all return to our lord and "dust will be our beds"

  8. According to the  tenets of the Muslim faith, death is the complete end of physical life and the beginning of a period of rest until the day of resurrection when  Allah judges the living and the dead.

    Death remains a mysterious reality just as life itself is. The Qur'an says, "Every soul must taste death." In fact, belief in the ultimate reality is tied to the belief in the ultimate truth: How can you deny God, knowing that He gave you life, then caused you to die and to Him is your return? (Qur'an) !!!

I've always thought I would die in a car wreck.  It's not that I drive bad or speed, it's just a feeling I have.  I've thought about my funeral to the extent that I don't want a lot of money spent on an elaborate casket, flowers, etc.  I've told my family to spend the least amount of money possible cuz I have no need to impress any one or to make it seem I had lots of money whether I did or not.  I'd rather any money I have go to my husband and son.

  11. i wanna get shot 10 times, and than survive it, than get shot like another 10 times and die, than i would be never forgotten, cause people would be like "daaaaaaaamm, the dude took 10 shots and didnt stop him, than another 10 to finish him off" that would be awesome

    jk, i think i will die with all the other believers, on the day of judgement, but, Allah (SWT) knows best.

    Nobody's ready to face their Lord, there's so much more you could do to please Allah (SWT), every moment is precious.

  14. That's quite scary. I want to die with Allah swt happy with me. The day I feel completely pure will be the day I'm ready to face my Lord. That's a nice story you got going there

    If i were to die it would be in my sleep, less painful for me that way.

  17. I would like to die by being hit by lightening, on a very normal day. I don't know why, i suppose i just want a really spontaneous and random death... would be fun. Zzaap!

    I always pictured myself dying when i dont expect it, like im going outside to get something and then i have  a heart attack or fall and hit my head or something like that.

    No, im not ready to face the Lord yet, but Insh'Allah by this Ramadan i will improve myself like what roc chick said.
