Question:

If you have 2 old unpaid fines..and you have 2 warrants...?

and you go to the court house to pay the fines..Can you just walk in in there to pay the fines, or because there is a warrant will you get arrested?

It depends.  What the original charges are, and how generous the Court is willing to be that day.  Keep in mind, the Court is usually most concerned about getting the money, rather than incarceration.  Putting you in jail costs a lot of money and if they can get their money without spending any on you, I would imagine that they would be happy to take your money and not jail you.

    What you will need to do is go into Court, talk with the clerk of the Court and then appear before the judge.  Explain that you wish to pay the fines and would like the warrant quashed.

    Tips: Where nice clothes ... think Sunday church clothes ... or Easter Sunday clothes (as some people where the oddest things to church these days.)  Also, call the judge "Your Honor."
